Honoka Akahoshi (赤星ホノカ) otherwise known as Pippii (ぴっぴぃ) is a chick-like fairy from Bittomo x Heroine Kirameki Powers! who then turns into a passionate 2nd grade middle school student. She transforms into the "Battle Master of Flames", Kirapawa Fine.
Biography[]
Appearance[]
When transformed, her hair shortens in length. She gets an undercut and her hair becomes highlighted with red, orange and brown. It is also decorated with red goggles. Her eyes are lined with blue eyeliner, with red stars and dots decorated around the sides as well as a red gem in the corner of her eyes. She wears a hooded outfit with a white gaming console in the middle, with red, black, blue, and yellow buttons, the red one having her logo on it. Her outfit has different shades of red squares on it, and has a dark red corset. Her skirt has three layers, with the outer one being the squares, one of light red and blue, and one layer being red frills. On her hands, she wears white and red fingerless gloves, and has her transformation item to the left of her hip. She wears knee-length red socks with white rectangles on them, and wears white sneakers with red edges and outlines. She also has red and blue nail polish.
Unlike Kirari and Yuzuki, Honoka has a red diamond on her shoulder pads as well as a red diamond to the bottom center of her game controller like breast plate.
In the style of anime and manga, she has red hair and red eyes with hints of blue.
As Pippii[]
Pippii is a yellow duck with red wings. Like the others, Pippi has blue eyes with game console like designs. On her head is a yellow heart and on her neck is a red ribbon with a red diamond in the center.
Personality[]
As Pippii, she often gets fired up with a variety of things and says "it's shine is firing up ~ppii". As Honoka, this trait remains this same. As a fairy, when necessary, she would peck at others though, it never really hurt.
Honoka's personality is the polar opposite of Koyuki's. Honoka is passionate, excitable, strong-willed, and rather impatient. She sometimes acts before thinking what will happen. Honoka likes sports and martial arts, and even try to join the club based on the said interests. She is also protective of her friends, particularly Himenyan, even if it means risking her life.
Relationships[]
- Princess - The Princess is her superior but is also one of her closest friends.
- Hamurii/Koyuki Aoba - Along with Hamurii, they are assistants and friends to the princess. Hamurii and Pippii are close friends, or maybe best friends, and are almost never seen being apart. Even after they become humans, they remain close, but in some occasions, they have a disagreement because of their personalities being clashed. After a short fight, they reconcile afterwards.
Etymology[]
Pippii (ぴっぴぃ) is derived from ピーピー (pīpī) or ぴよぴよ (piyopiyo), both onomatopeia that mean 'chirp-chirp' or 'tweet-tweet', a sound of what do the birds say, which are also Pippii's original form.
Honoka (ホノカ) is an amalgam between a given name ほのか and the Japanese words 炎 or 焰 (honō) meaning 'flame' and 火 (ka) meaning 'fire'. Both are related to her power as a Kirapawa.
Akahoshi (赤星) means the "Red Star", with 赤 (red as her theme color ) and 星 (star).
History[]
Honoka was originally in the form a chick-like fairy named "Pippii", friend and attendant of the Princess, before transforming into her human form to save Kirari and Yuzuki.[1][2]
Synopsis[]
Becoming a Human and Kirapawa[]
Pippii and Hamurii watch alongside Himenyan and Kirapawa Sunny and Kirapawa Moon try to defeat the Dark Knight, a powered up version of Makkurakurasuke, after trying to obtain the Metamor Memory. However, the two are unable to defeat them. Without a hint of hesitation, Pippii and Hamurii attempt to defeat the Dark Knight themselves though evidently not enough. Himenyan senses something familiar about them and heads to the Metamor Memory herself. She hands them the memory ultimately allowing them to transform into humans. Pippii thus becomes Honoka Akahoshi, this form then allowing her to transform into Kirapawa Fine, the Battle Master of Flames. Along with Koyuki, they then attend the same middle school, Kiraboshi Middle School, with Yuzuki.
